First dating tips for our lovely ladies!

First date can really be nerve-wracking. It feels scary to put yourself out there for a guy you barely know! You might have heard of the old saying, "The first impression is the last impression". No wonder it is 100% correct. Your first impression provides a clear indication of whether to take it further or not. So here I have several tips for you to rock your first date.

  • Be punctual

Always try to be punctual. It shows respect for others time.

  • Dress comfortably and appropriately.

Remember to be yourself. Do not overdo your dress, hair, or makeup. It'll make you look needy and wanna be. You don't want to scare your date. Wear a big, beautiful smile to woo your date. Pick sober colors to wear for the first date. A plain black or white top, along with blue denim and a subtle pair of heels can make you look appealing.

  • Be confident.

We know you are nervous on your first date and there are 'n' numbers of thoughts popping inside your head but you do not want to show this to your date, right. So just take things the way they are and wear a big smile on your face. Make significant eye contacts and please do not exaggerate, that's a big turn off for guys.

  • Offer a split check.

Men really appreciate women with a strong and independent mind who believe in equality in its true sense. I have seen my guy friends describe their first date experiences to me and they were exceptionally attracted to women who offered a split check (pay for their own food). Strange, yet true! So girls, you know what to do...

  • First date conversations.

First date chit chats should always be about life, family, friends, career, past dating history, etc. Do not hop on a serious and intense topic. Make him comfortable with little gestures. He should feel that you are genuinely listening to him. On the other hand, equally participate in the conversation. Describe your lifestyle while listening to his side of the story as well.

  • Setup your boundaries.

Don't rely on anyone by closed eyes. Always be alert on your first date. If you feel something unusual, a red flag should be raised and you should leave early.

Rest assured, everything will be awesome. Go with the flow; ease out.
