I am a girl and belong to a traditional family. I belong to Punjab and am staying in New Delhi. I met my boyfriend in New Delhi who is 12 years younger than me. He is 18 years old and I am 30 years old.
Initially when he started talking romantically, I hesitated due to the age difference but he comforted me and told me that it's fine and he will always support me and never leave me alone. We kept on talking.
Later on, after dating for a few months, we indulge in a relationship. We have been in a relationship for more than one year.
For the last 2 months, he has been saying, it's better to leave everything now. He told, he tried to convince his parents for marriage but they are not ready for it due to age difference. They are saying that it is not good for children after marriage.
I really don't want to leave him, but I am unable to understand what I should do now. He still says he loves me, but he can't marry me. He told me to remain in a relationship until I got married. I am very confused about maintaining such a relationship which has no future.
